Singer Cindy Sanyu has publicly expressed frustration over her collaboration with fellow singer Omega 256 on their hit song “See You Tonight,” claiming that she has been sidelined from many of the benefits generated by the project.

Speaking during an appearance on 100.2 Galaxy FM, Cindy alleged that Omega 256 and her team have selfishly taken control of most of the opportunities and rewards that came from the song, despite Cindy being the one who financed its production.

According to Cindy, Omega 256 has enjoyed the majority of the recognition attached to the song, including awards and other benefits, while her contribution has largely been overlooked.

The veteran singer also accused Omega of unfair practices regarding the song’s digital distribution. Cindy claimed that Omega and her team rushed to upload the track onto their digital platforms without first seeking her consent.

She further alleged that the revenue-sharing arrangement was unfair, saying Omega secured a 60 percent share of the digital earnings while leaving her with 40 percent, despite what Cindy described as an equal contribution to the project.
“See You Tonight” became one of the biggest songs of 2025, enjoying massive airplay across radio and television stations while also dominating music charts throughout the year.
Neither Omega 256 nor her management team had publicly responded to Cindy’s claims by the time of publication.
