Ugandan female rapper Keko has revealed that she was once in a romantic relationship with fellow singer Sheebah Karungi for two years.
Speaking about their past, Keko disclosed that the relationship ended because Sheebah felt her music career was not progressing in the direction she wanted.
“Me and Sheebah dated for 2 years. We later separated because she felt her career wasn’t going in the right direction. She felt desperate, I guess, because I was a very big star then,” Keko revealed during a YouTube interview.
The revelation has brought renewed attention to long-standing rumors that the two female artists were once romantically involved.
Over the years, the speculation attracted significant public interest, but neither artist had publicly confirmed the claims.
Keko’s statement now appears to confirm what had previously remained a topic of discussion among fans and entertainment followers.
Both Keko and Sheebah Karungi have played important roles in Uganda’s music industry, earning recognition for their contributions to the entertainment scene.
