Azawi has boldly claimed dominance over her peers, stating that no artist from her generation can match her on stage in the post-lockdown music era.

Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV, the “Repeat It” hitmaker expressed unwavering confidence in her craft, asserting that since 2020, she has set a standard that others cannot rival—even in a musical showdown.

In my generation, no artist can battle me on stage,” Azawi said. “If we are talking about timeless music, and there’s any musician who feels they can match me, they should come forward.”

She specifically addressed comparisons with fellow artist Alien Skin, dismissing the idea that he could compete with her musically, particularly when it comes to longevity and timeless appeal.

Despite her strong statements, Azawi emphasized that her remarks are not rooted in arrogance but in what she describes as factual achievements and consistency in her career.

“I thank God for the grace,” she noted. “I’m not bragging—I’m speaking facts.”

The singer also took a moment to acknowledge the effort required to maintain success in the music industry, urging fans and critics alike to respect artists who manage to produce even a handful of hits.

Respect artists with three or four hits in their catalog because that kind of consistency requires focus, dedication, and a lot of money,” she explained.

Azawi went on to highlight her own accomplishments, pointing to her discography as proof of her dominance.

“But me, I have two hit albums,” she added confidently.
