Double Barrel Beverages in partnership with Bumbu Rum Company and The Deacon Scotch Whisky has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Bumbu & The Deacon Launch Experience, which had been scheduled to take place on Sunday, 15th March 2026.
In a statement released to invited guests, media partners, and industry stakeholders, the organizers confirmed that the event will be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. The decision was made to ensure that the launch experience is delivered at the high standard expected for the introduction of these globally celebrated spirits.
“We would like to inform our invited guests, media partners, and industry colleagues that the Bumbu and The Deacon Launch Experience will be postponed. We have taken the decision to reschedule the event to a later date,” brand manager Joan Lubega
Double Barrel Beverages and Sovereign Brands also extended their apologies for any inconvenience caused and thanked partners and guests for their understanding.
A new date for the launch will be communicated in due course.
The event is expected to bring together industry players, media personalities, and lifestyle influencers for a premium evening celebrating the distinctive craftsmanship and heritage behind Bumbu and The Deacon two spirits that have built strong global reputations for quality and character. Once rescheduled, the experience promises an immersive introduction to both brands, showcasing their unique stories, flavors, and global appeal.
