Ugandan singer Ava Peace has revealed that she made more than UGX 100 million from gifts and cash during her recent birthday celebrations.
The singer, who celebrated her birthday on January 13, shared the exciting details during an appearance on Galaxy TV, explaining that friends and family surprised her with generous gifts that made the day even more special.
According to Ava Peace, some of the most memorable gifts came from people close to her.
“My sister gave me two bundles of cash. My brother, who is in Forex trading, also gave me something that really suited me,” she said.
She noted that when she added up the gifts and money she received from different people who attended or celebrated with her, the total value exceeded UGX 100 million.
During the same interview, the singer also opened up about the musician who inspires her the most in the industry.
Ava Peace revealed that Jamaican dancehall star Shenseea is her biggest role model.
“Shenseea. She does good and also there’s a story she shared that’s somehow similar to mine, and I loved her more,” Ava Peace explained.
Shenseea is widely known for her rise from humble beginnings to international fame, something Ava Peace says resonates deeply with her own journey in the music industry.
