Masaka businessman Emmanuel Lwasa has officially converted to Islam, marking a significant change in his personal life.
On Friday, Lwasa arrived at Kibuli Mosque in Kampala, where he formally embraced the Islamic faith.
Speaking to media, Lwasa revealed that his decision was largely influenced by his new Muslim lover, whose devotion to Islam left a profound impact on him.
“I am ready to go to Mecca. Even fasting, I am very ready for that,” Lwasa confidently declared, expressing his enthusiasm for observing Islamic practices.
As part of his conversion, Lwasa dropped his Christian name, Emmanuel, and adopted the Muslim name Akram.
