Namulondo has been rumored to be running for the Makindye West MP seat for several months now.
According to reports, Namulondo had previously discussed her goals with the National Unity Platform leadership and was just awaiting approval from the group.
The actress hasn’t spoken anything about it, though. Namulondo did not refute the reports in an interview with Spark TV.
“I will discuss that at the right time. It will all come out to you, but it’s not the time to talk about that,” she said in part.
In the event that Namulondo decides to run, she will have fierce competition from Allan Sewanyana, the current head of NUP’s institutions, Speaker of the KCCA Zahrah Luyirika, and David Musiri.
