Here Is Why Kabaka Is Being Treated From Mental Facility In Namibia

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Mwenda Mutebi was transferred to Namibia to get treatment.

It is said that he was taken to a mental facility and he has been in that facility for months now and hoping that he is going to get much better with time.

His stay in Namibia was confirmed by  Namibia’s ambassador to Germany, Martin Andjaba, in response to a letter dated May 21 from a concerned Ugandan citizen based in Germany.

In his reply on May 24, Ambassador Andjaba clarified that the Kabaka is not being detained in Namibia, contrary to reports circulating on social media.

He emphasized that the Kabaka is in the country solely for medical reasons. “He arrived in the country in April 2024 for treatment and is currently at Okonguarri Psychotherapeutic Centre in the Outjo area in the Kunene Region,” Andjab

The Kabaka of Buganda hasn’t been doing so well for some time. He has been sick and people have been asking to see him and see how he is doing healthy wise.
