VIDEO: Bomb Scare Pastor At Pastor Bugembe’s Church

This past weekend, a suspected bomb threat at Pastor Wilson Bugembe’s Worship House Church in Nansana, Wakiso District was reported to the Uganda Police and the Uganda People’s Defence Forces.

Accordindly, security measures have been increased at the church to manage the situation.

According to Major Charles Kabona, spokesperson for the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) stated that thay received the information and had to act immediately.

A professional and dedicated team worked throughout the night to investigate the premises. Fortunately, no explosives were discovered during their thorough search.

To reassure people who pray and work at church, the police and UPDF have given Pastor Bugembe the all-clear to continue with the planned Sunday service.

Major Kabona expressed his gratitude for the swift response and effective handling of the situation by the security forces, which helped restore normalcy and ensure the safety of the congregation.

There have been security threats all over the country but it is wonderful that our security Authorities are doing their best to protect the citizens of Uganda.

Churches attracted very many people over the weekend which means that any suspected bomb threat should be taken seriously.
