Priscilla Zawedde a.k.a Azawi, a Ugandan song writer and musician made a sports bet with fellow musician Wycliff Tugume a.k.a ykee Benda regarding the Manchester united Vs. Arsenal premier league game that happened last evening.
On her X account she posted ” @Ykee Benda, I bet 1 million Ugandan shillings you are not winning at old Trafford, deal?”
This deal was accepted by Ykee Benda him being a very strong Arsenal supporter.
Unfortunately for Azawi, last evening, Manchester United was defeated by at its own stadium – Old Trafford.
Immediately after the game, Ykee Benda posted on X
” ladies and gentlemen, Azawi has showed real sportsmanship”
He did not stop there, he attached a sceenshot of a mobile money message from azawi.
Ykee Benda went on to call out Uganda boys Africa to pick a leaf from Azawi and pay him.
This incident has further proved how honourable Azawi is and how unique she is from other musicians.
There have been many incidents where musicians have failed to pay their service providers.
There have also been incidents where musicians themselves have complained about not being paid by event organizers.
However, this incident has showed us how Azawi continues to be very exceptional.
