Holly thinks that children are priceless gifts, as taught by many different religions. That many women have a strong desire to become mothers is therefore not surprising. Although many celebrities express their children’s joys on social media with pride, some people find that delight unattainable.
The musician Jackie Chandiru is all too familiar with this suffering. She discussed her difficulties becoming pregnant in a recent interview. She talked about the numerous setbacks she had experienced while trying to become a mother, and tears filled her eyes.
Jackie has had several heartbreaks in spite of dating and trying for years. Social pressure and incessant queries have contributed to sleepless nights brought on by the inability to conceive. In contrast to her motherly former bandmates, Jackie’s reality serves as a continual reminder of what seems lacking.
Long ago, the longing began, but the first dream was dashed by a miscarriage. It has been a never-ending struggle ever since. Jackie has now arrived at a place of acceptance.
“I always wanted to be a mother,” she says, “but maybe it’s not God’s plan for me. It’s been hard, and people don’t understand that this isn’t a choice.”
