Biswanka Derrick musically known as Biswanka yesterday during the Galaxy Zzina Carnival knelt and apologized to his former boss Alien Skin.
A few months back, Biswanka used his social media platforms to attack Alien Skin and also decided to depart from Fagone entertainment. This had since created tension between the two musicians.
Alien Skin was very disappointed after having picked Biswanka down in Mubende district where he was working at a fuel station. He made a sole decision to bring him to Kampala, housed him and have him a head start at his music career.
Biswanka, however became remorseful after Alien Skin saved him from attacks by thugs at the Galaxy Zzina Carnival.
Biwanka apologized to Alien Skin, He knelt and expressed his gratitude to his former boss and fellow singer, Alien Skim.
Alien lifted him up, hugged him and gave him a fist bump to confirm that all was well as they exchanged pleasantries, and Biswanka left a happy man.
Musicians have a tendency of forgetting people that lifted them up when they had nothing.
This normally comes when they gain some publicity and financial independence.
However, Biswanka and Alien Skin’s story should act as an example to all artists to think twice before disrespecting people that once came to their rescue when no one did.
Additionally, it is best if we give credit where it is due for Biswanka making a public apology to his former boss and mentor.
It was best that just as he insulted Alien Skin in public, the apology also had to be made publicly.
