Jackie Chandiru, a Ugandan Musician well known for being one of the best music bands in the early 2000s – the Blue 3 has finally disclosed why she is childless.
Like any other women in Uganda, Chandiru has been criticised for having no child yet she 39 years old which to Ugandas is the evenings of child birth of any Ugandan woman.
Jackie Chandiru has often responded to such inquiries with “I am not ready for motherhood” line that most women use to bash off those pestering them to have children.
However, yesterday during an interview with Mr. Henrie on the DEEP talk for Galaxy TV, Chandiru disclosed that for a long time now, she has going through infertility struggles.
She sadly stated that she has always had the desire to become a mother but she has miscarried all her pregnancies. For this, she considers it the hardest experience in her life.
Fertility struggles are not unique to only Jackie Chandiru, many women across the world are struggling with infertility partly because of fibroids that are in 6 of every 10 women in the world.
However, on a brighter note, Jackie Chandiru continues to hold onto the hope that one say she will have a biological child.
We continue to put Chandiru in our prayers given the different hardships the world has thrown at her.
It is common knowledge that Chandiru has once been admitted to rehabilitation centres such as Naguru hospital and Bunamwaya rehabilitation center for mental health chanllenges.
She has also disclosed to media that she is a victim and survivor domestic violence.
We are beyond grateful that the talented musician continues to stand strong.
