Media personality Sheilah Gashumba has called upon people to try and be better human beings. She said this as she reacted to a story in the media by another media personality Dagy Nyce on how he was abandoned by his mother.
Dagy Nyce said that his mother abandoned the family and relocated to the US around 1989. This followed a domestic feud between her and her husband. And when she left for the US, she never looked back for the kids she left behind.
Apparently, she went ahead to become a very powerful pastor in the US. The NTV presenter only got to her in 2015 after a Pastor Robert Kayanja organised conference where she was a keynote speaker. Even getting to meet her wasn’t easy as he had to go through tight security protocols.
Additionally, the NTV Da Beat presenter said that he doesn’t hate his mother. It’s she who hates him since she didn’t bother to find out what she left behind. On this note, Sheilah said that people need to do better and a woman of God doing this is just laughable. She couldn’t fathom how a mother gets on a flight and doesn’t look back to her kids for decades.

Meanwhile Dagy Nyce clarified that they are two biological children between his mother and father. But still she didn’t care to find out what they were going through or at least establish a bond.
