I am reliably informed that a many people are losing money in the new MTN Uganda reverse option.
See how it happens:- A one Nabukera, a whole sale trader in kikubo was cheated over 1.5m. She says that a client moved in her store, percussed items worth 1.5 paid by MTN mobile money. She saw the money and checked her account to confirm.
After 30minutes when the client had left, she was surprised seeing that her money wasn’t balancing, she quickly called MTN customer Care and surprisingly they told her the sender had reversed the money. She was advised to open a police case which involves paying tracking fee.
Another Man In Energy Center lost 3.4m in a similar way like that of Aisha.
