If you see Anne Kansiime with an MKopa phone, don’t assume it is because she has fallen in hard times. Sources close to her reveal that she has been in a relationship with M-Kopa founder Chad Gilbert Larson since last year.
MKopa, headquartered in Kenya , sells smartphones on a buy and pay later plan accross Africa.The company recorded over half a billion US dollars in revenue last year alone so it’s safe to say Kansiime has fallen in things.
Kansiime who has her first standup special at the national theater this 12th of April 2026 revealed this past week in her spicy interviews that she has never felt this taken care of in a relationship.
Sources say that Chad and Anne met just last year when he was in kampala on MKopa business but has always been a fan of her comedy since she launched on citizen TV in 2014.
Chad Larson is an American who has lived in Nairobi since 2010.
