Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa has weighed in on the growing debate between Pallaso and King Saha, firmly dismissing any comparisons between the two artists.

While appearing in an interview on Sanyuka TV, the former 2026 presidential candidate responded to Pallaso’s bold claim that artists with fewer than 20 hit songs should consider quitting the industry.
The statement sparked reactions across the music scene, with King Saha stepping forward, showcasing a catalog reportedly filled with over 40 hit songs—fueling comparisons between the two.
However, Hon. Munyagwa made it clear that, in his view, such comparisons don’t hold weight. He argued that Pallaso stands in a league of his own, largely due to his international exposure.
According to him, Pallaso’s time in the United States significantly shaped his musical approach, giving his work a polished and professional edge. He cited songs like Banene as evidence of this refined sound and global appeal.
He went on to describe Pallaso as an international artist whose branding and artistry reflect a higher level, even drawing parallels to East African superstar Diamond Platnumz.

He, however, noted that Pallaso’s involvement in local industry feuds has somewhat overshadowed this status.
In conclusion, Munyagwa maintained that Pallaso cannot be compared to King Saha, emphasizing that his global influence, branding, and musical delivery set him apart as the superior artist in this debate.
