Sasha Brighton has made an emotional appeal to promoters in the diaspora, asking for a chance to perform abroad as she pursues her dream of experiencing life outside Uganda.

The singer revealed that one of her biggest desires is to experience different seasons, particularly winter and summer in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, or Canada—something she says has so far remained out of reach.
Sasha Brighton opened up about her struggles with travel, revealing that she has twice been denied a UK visa. The experience left her questioning herself and wondering why she hasn’t been given the opportunity to travel.
According to her, one of the failed applications was poorly handled, as both she and her manager were not adequately prepared for the process.
“The first time we applied with the manager, but when we reached there, the manager didn’t know anything about me and I didn’t either,” she explained.
Now, the singer says she is directly appealing to diaspora promoters, especially those organizing major Ugandan events abroad, to consider booking her for performances.
She specifically mentioned events like the UNAA Convention and the NUP Convention, asking organizers to give her a chance to be part of their lineups.
Sasha Brighton emphasized that her desire is not just about performing, but also about gaining new life experiences.
“I’m begging promoters in America to invite me so I can experience summer and winter and feel how it is,” she said, adding that Uganda’s weather is mostly the same year-round, which makes her crave a different environment.
The singer concluded by saying she is open to traveling anywhere abroad, including Canada, as long as she gets the opportunity to explore new cultures and climates while growing her music career.
