Bridges & Beats press conference ignites excitement ahead of Kampala’s premier Francophonie celebration

Bridges & Beats officially came to life yesterday during a vibrant press conference held at Alliance Française Kampala, setting the tone for what promises to be one of the most culturally immersive events on Kampala’s calendar.

Organized by Alliance Française Kampala in partnership with Talent Africa Group, the event brought together media personalities, cultural stakeholders, and celebrated artists. Attendees were given a glimpse into the highly anticipated showcase scheduled for March 28, 2026, at Kingdom Kampala starting at 4:00 PM.

The press conference featured notable performers including Elijah Kitaka, Tracy Melon, and Blac Queen, all of whom are expected to take center stage at the main event.

Speaking during the briefing, Loïc Boivin, the newly appointed Director of Alliance Française Kampala, emphasized the importance of cultural exchange and collaboration. He noted that Bridges & Beats reflects the true spirit of Francophonie today—openness, creativity, and connection across cultures—while offering a platform for Ugandan and Francophone talent to meet, collaborate, and inspire new audiences.

On his part, Aly Allibhai highlighted the vision behind the event, describing it as more than just entertainment. He explained that Bridges & Beats is designed as a fusion of music, art, conversation, and lifestyle, aimed at delivering a bold and immersive experience for Kampala audiences.

The event will feature a carefully curated program blending entertainment with cultural expression. Guests can expect live performances that fuse Ugandan and Francophone sounds, electrifying DJ sets, and dynamic stage experiences, all set to transform Kingdom Kampala into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and connection.

Tickets are already on sale via the Talent Africa App. Early bird tickets are priced at UGX 20,000 for standard access and UGX 50,000 for VIP, while gate prices will go for UGX 30,000 and UGX 60,000 respectively. Tickets are also available online at www.tagticketing.com or by dialing 16598#.
