Fik Fameica has opened up about why he has not settled down in marriage yet, revealing that although he is currently seeing someone, he still feels he is young and not in a rush to walk down the aisle.
The rapper shared that during his late mother’s lifetime, she often pressured him to get married. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to fulfill that wish before she passed away, something he says still weighs on him.
“She used to pressure me into marrying and that is something I wasn’t able to give her when she was alive,” he said, noting that honoring her wish is now something he feels obligated to do, even if it might not have been his immediate priority.
Fik Fameica clarified that he is not against marriage. In fact, he looks forward to it at some point in his life.
However, he explained that he chose to focus on other aspects of his life first and believes marriage should happen at the right time.
“It’s not like I couldn’t do it. My mother also knew I was capable of marrying, but I had chosen to focus on other things because the time wasn’t right,” he explained.
He emphasized that marriage is a serious commitment since it involves choosing someone you intend to spend the rest of your life with, which is why he believes it should never be rushed.
