Anita Da Diva has dismissed claims that she still uses drugs and alcohol, saying she has since changed her lifestyle and now prefers drinking mineral water.
The “Dance Over Night” hitmaker explained that she deliberately stepped back from the active music scene to give upcoming artists an opportunity to also benefit from the industry.
According to Anita, her decision to slow down musically was not due to a lack of relevance but rather a personal choice to allow younger talents to grow and earn from their craft.
“I decided to pull back a little so that other young artists can also get the chance to earn from music and grow,” she said.
The singer also opened up about her personal life, revealing that she is currently single but receiving attention from different men who support her.
“Men are taking care of me and I don’t have one stable man yet, so if there’s one out there who wants Da Diva, let him look for money and we connect,” she joked.
Addressing rumors about drug use, Anita admitted that she experimented with drugs in the past but has since quit. She warned others against the habit, saying life has improved for her since she stopped.
The singer added that her health and appearance have improved significantly after abandoning drugs.
“I used to just lick and not drink a lot, but now I’m strictly a mineral water person. If you want to take me out these days, just buy a whole carton of water and you’ll get me,” she said.
