Last Sunday, 8 March 2026, Iganga took it to the streets to show love and collect funds for the children living with sickle cell.

Propelled by an annual fund of 15 million from ForteBet, the run was graced by over a thousand participants, all running to save sickle cell lives. Alex Muhangi and John Nanyumba led the Iganga resident ForteBet team. ForteBet then rewarded the winners with phones and other goodies.

Muhangi thanked all the participants for raising up to fight the deadly disease. “As ForteBet, we shall continue being part of this campaign until the cases are under control,” noted Muhangi.
