Alien Skin has vowed never to perform in the Busoga region again following what he described as repeated mistreatment by crowds there.

The Fangone Forest boss made the bold declaration while addressing fans, saying there is currently no amount of money that could convince him to return and stage a performance in the area.
According to the singer, the decision stems from past incidents in which he claims he was treated unfairly by people in the region. He said that even though he holds no personal hatred toward the Basoga, he feels the environment there is not supportive of artists like him.
“There’s no deal I can make with the Basoga. I don’t despise them, but they are way behind when it comes to working with people like us,” Alien Skin said.
The controversial singer specifically pointed to an incident that happened at the start of political campaigns late last year in Jinja, where he says he was chased away by an angry mob. That experience, he noted, played a major role in his decision to stay away from the region.
Alien Skin also revealed that even in recent times he has continued to experience hostility whenever he is associated with events in the area.
He further criticized some leaders in the region, claiming they have failed to condemn the actions of rowdy individuals and instead appear to defend such behavior.
“Even the leaders who are meant to condemn them go and post supporting their unruly behavior, saying they are like that. Let them just announce that they aren’t civilians anymore and are now murderers,” he added.
Despite his strong stance, Alien Skin suggested that reconciliation could be possible in the future, although it would take time.
The singer said the people in the region may need at least two years to “cleanse themselves,” after which he might consider forgiving them. For now, however, he insists he is completely done performing there.
