Jamaican dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel also known as the Worl’ Boss could potentially hold his first ever concert on the African continent in Uganda.
The website has learnt that the Worl boss is in final talking stage with one Ugandan promoter to host him for what would be his first concert in Uganda and Africa.
Though no official venue, or date has been confirmed by Vybz Kartel’s management or any recognised event organisers, we are confident the concert is in it’s final preparation stage and both parties will soon make it official and public.
Recent tours by Kartel, including his Worl’ Boss Tour and festival appearances in Europe and North America, show he is actively performing globally, but Africa has not yet appeared on official tour itineraries that have been published on his merchandise or tour sites.
Dancehall music has a strong following in Uganda, with local artists drawing on the genre’s energy and sound in countless tracks and live events.
