Eddy Kenzo Explains Why UNMF Stopped Holding Weekly Meetings

By BigEyeUg Team

Ugandan singer and Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) president Eddy Kenzo has revealed why the federation no longer holds its regular weekly meetings as it used to.

According to Kenzo, the pause in the federation’s activities is due to his busy schedule since the start of the presidential campaigns in September.

He noted that his unavailability has made it difficult for the federation to continue its usual gatherings and jam sessions.

“The Federation no longer sits because I’m not available, and I can’t chop myself into pieces to be everywhere. The other members cannot sit without me, so that’s why the UNMF jam sessions no longer take place,” Kenzo explained.

The Sitya Loss singer emphasized that the federation’s meetings heavily rely on his presence, making it challenging for other members to convene in his absence.

Kenzo, who has been balancing music, leadership, and political engagements, assured that the UNMF will resume its normal operations once he is more available.
