Singer Alien Skin has revealed why he has not yet participated in political campaigns despite his open support for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).
According to the Fangone Forest boss, campaigns are not like a school where one must attend every day.
He believes that taking part in campaigns is a matter of free will, both for artists and the politicians who seek their services.
Alien Skin further explained that he sees himself as an expatriate who is only hired to do what others have failed to achieve.
This, he said, guides how he chooses when and where to get involved.
It should be remembered that Alien Skin has previously expressed strong interest in rallying support for the NRM, even amidst criticism and threats from opposition supporters.
His statement has once again placed him in the spotlight, as he continues to balance his music career with his political opinions.
