Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, has spoken out about how the public perceives her as a celebrity.
“I think many people expect me to be a celebrity, but I am not, and they give me that excitement as if they have seen an artist, which I am not,” Hon. Nyamutoro said.
The youthful minister has been in the spotlight not only for her political role but also because she is the wife to sensational multi-international-award-winning singer, Eddy Kenzo.
Despite her high-profile lifestyle, Nyamutoro maintains that her focus remains on her service as a leader, rather than living in the shadow of celebrity attention.
