Fast-rising Ugandan singer Liam Voice has opened up about his family background, revealing that his mother once wished for him to join priesthood.
The soft-voiced artist said he comes from a staunch Catholic family, and his mother strongly believed he would one day serve God as a priest.
However, life took a different direction, and he ended up following his passion for music instead.
“I come from a staunch Catholic family. My mother wanted me to become a priest but unfortunately, I didn’t,” Liam Voice shared during an interview on Galaxy TV.
Despite not becoming a priest, Liam Voice has found success in the music industry with his emotional songs and powerful vocals, which continue to touch many hearts.
He added that his family has since accepted his career path and continues to support him as he grows his brand in Uganda’s entertainment scene.
