Sauda Madada Ditches NUP After Card Denial

One of the strongest supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) Sauda Madada has ditched the party after she was denied a card to contest as the councilor for Kampala central.

She said that she was highly disappointed by the decision believing that there was something wrong in choosing the person to represent.

Sauda Madada has been so much involved with the party from the beginning. She showed that she can be their for it in good and bad.

When she showed interests in contesting she was very sure that she is going to get a card and hold the flag but unfortunately that hasn’t worked.

Madada said that she has supporters on ground who are pushing her and wanting her to lead them everyday.

And as a person who believes in people power, she is willing to contest independent and see how far she can go with that.

“I am very disappointed in my party and I am sure they didn’t do the ground work. If they did it would be clear that I have supporters and people actually believe in me and I deserved the card,”
