Nubian Li’s wife, Mutoni Shiko, has come out to address swirling rumors suggesting that her marriage to the singer had come to an end.
On Friday evening, fans of Nubian Li were left shocked after posts emerged on Mutoni’s official Facebook account claiming she had broken up with her longtime husband.
The posts alleged that Mutoni had been disrespected by some of Nubian Li’s close friends, which had pushed her to consider leaving the marriage in order to “create space” for them.
However, Mutoni has dismissed the reports as false. Taking to her WhatsApp status, she clarified that her Facebook account had been hacked and that the posts making rounds online did not originate from her.
“My account was compromised. Hackers have been posting things I don’t know about. Please ignore them,” Mutoni explained, urging her followers to treat the circulating rumors with the contempt they deserve.
She reassured fans that her marriage to Nubian Li remains intact, dismissing the breakup claims as baseless and unfounded.
