Singer and songwriter Sheena Skies has revealed shocking secrets about the women in the Ugandan music industry.
She said that although people keep saying that women are equal to men it is only on paper because in reality, the men are still in control of everything.
Sheena Skies has been in the music industry for over five years. She is one of the most talented musicians and at the same time she is the best song writer.
Unfortunately she has worked so hard but hasn’t gotten anything from her music not even her songs being played country wide.
According to the singer, the music industry is a depressing spot mainly for the females because everyone steps over them and even takes as advantage.
She revealed that it is not always about talent, people have chanted and at the moment they prefer to go with anyone that gives them something that is not talent.
“The music industry has become a depressing spot for women specifically , it’s not about the talent anymore. Everyone wants to take advantage of women and we can’t do anything about it,”
