Comedian and business man Alex Muhangi has revealed reasons why he started the comedy store weekly show.
He said that when he started performing as comedian, he was paid peanuts or not even being paid saying that they are giving him a platform.
According to Alex Muhangi, starting up comedy store was to help fellow comedians earn more and even have a bigger platform.
The comedian explained that ever since he started comedy store, comedians have been respected so much and are always getting better gigs.
Alex Muhangi said that he is happy with his business and he wouldn’t do it differently if he was to go back in time just because of critics.
“Starting a Comedy Store was my dream, because I wanted comedians to showcase their talents without paying them like we did when we started,» Alex Muhangi
