Chris Rugari, Zimbabwe’s Consular General in Uganda, has finally spoken out following the death of his two-year-old son, Nganwa Rugari, under mysterious circumstances.
In a letter we have seen, Mr. Rugari vowed to uncover the truth behind his son’s “brutal and cruel death,” which occurred while the child was in the care of his estranged wife, Joline Kanoheri.
In his statement, Mr. Rugari dismissed as false the claims circulating about his relationship with his wife, including allegations that he had forced her to undergo a hysterectomy and had allowed her to have children with other men.
He also addressed a DNA dispute, revealing that two of his three eldest children were not his biological children, a discovery he made in late 2023. This revelation, he said, contributed to the tensions in their marriage leading to sex starvation and endless fights.
Mr. Rugari questioned how a child could fall without sustaining any injuries yet still die.
