A one Christine Kyarikunda upto now is still very heartbroken and wondering what a crazy world we live in after her blood sister betrayed her and secretly had sex marathons with her husband(mulamu) which ended into marriage.
In emotional interview, Christine shared how her life was turned upside down when her husband left her and went to live with her sister, taking their children with him.
Speaking with tears in her eyes last week, Christine said, “I never thought my own blood would do this to me. My sister was my closest friend. I trusted her with everything, even my family. I never imagined she would stab me in the back like this.
Christine explained that the troubles began slowly. Her sister often visited their home, and she thought nothing of it at first because she was just 17 and a virgin by then.
“ I thought she just enjoyed spending time with us. I didn’t know something was going on behind my back,”
Until one day, Christine returned home from a trip and found her house empty. Her husband who is a uganda prison officer, her sister, and her children were all gone.
There was no explanation, just silence. “I called and called, but no one picked up.
Days turned into weeks, and finally, I heard from a neighbor that they had seen them together in another town shopping food for their home”,
She later found out that her husband had moved in with her sister and taken the children with them. She had that they have since given birth to one child and reportedly pregnant with another.
Depressed Christine is now seeking help from local authorities and women’s organizations in Kampala so that she can access her children.
