Fake Melania is back. On Monday night’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Laura Benanti returned as First Lady Melania Trump to share an update on what she’s been up to since Trump’s inauguration, discuss her new look — dubbed “Melania 2.0” — and her Amazon documentary. As for her recent whereabouts, Melania said she’s been “splitting my time between Mar-a-Lago, The White House and Camp David,” describing the latter as “when I imagine I am camping with David Beckham. Toast my marshmallows, David. Bend me like Beckham.” Meanwhile, Melania weighed in on Trump’s State of the Union, before sharing her own as well. “If I had to say my own State of Union, I would say America is a lot like Melania: trapped in a bad relationship with Donald Trump, just praying he doesn’t screw us anymore than he already has,” she said.
