Karen Read Speaks Out In New ID Documentary: 'It Feels Like I'm in a Bad Dream'

Accused murderer Karen Read sits down to tell her side of the story in the trailer for Investigation Discovery’s upcoming docuseries, A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read. The ID and Max doc follows Read, who was accused of driving over her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O’Keefe, on a wintry Massachusetts morning in January 2022, as she prepares for her 2025 retrial. Originally charged with his murder, Read’s 2024 time in court ended in a mistrial. The docuseries, set to debut on ID over three nights, March 17-19, sees Read maintaining her innocence, with her defense alleging she was framed to protect fellow police officers involved in O’Keefe’s death.
