USA-based socialite Juliet Zawedde has stepped in to support her close friend, singer Jose Chameleone, amid his ongoing health struggles.
Reports indicate that Zawedde has offered to fly Chameleone to the United States for advanced medical treatment and management.
According to media personality Isaac Daniel Katende, better known as Kasuku, Zawedde will sponsor Chameleone’s journey and cover part of his hospital bills.
Kasuku, citing sources from Nakasero Hospital where the singer is currently admitted, confirmed that Chameleone will receive treatment in the U.S.
Zawedde personally visited Chameleone at Nakasero Hospital on Monday, December 16.
The celebrated singer is battling acute pancreatitis, a condition reportedly linked to alcohol addiction.
