A Fusion of Flavors at Ihunde Resort


This past Saturday, December 7th, the idyllic Ihunde Resort played host to the exclusive 6th edition of Chefs Versus.

In this unique culinary face-off, Chef Mark from Yujo Izakaya brought Japanese finesse, while Chef Wasan from Tamarai showcased the bold flavors of Thailand.

A midday party boat from Munyonyo set the festive tone. With cocktails in hand and beats from DJ Bryan and DJ Anselm, guests arrived ready for a feast. The competition featured tantalizing three-course meals that wowed the crowd.

Chef Wasan emerged victorious, claiming a one million shilling prize presented by event organizers Jasi Kassami and Don Kabonero. Runner-up Chef Mark earned five hundred thousand shillings for his effort. The charismatic MC Tracy Ikopit seamlessly guided guests through the dishes with insightful commentary.

Thanks to sponsors Coca-Cola, Freixenet, Heineken, and Ihunde Resort, the event was a flawless blend of food, fun, and flavor. It was a day that celebrated not just competition, but the joy of shared experiences and culinary culture.
