Uganda singer Alien Skin has decided to report Nsambya hospital to the Catholic highest leader Pope Francis.
This happened after one of his friends and gang member Joram died from hospital due to an accident. In his statement he claimed that his friend was rushed to the hospital without any injuries or open cuts.
According to the statement, Alien Skin told Pope Francis that his friend died due to negligence of the hospital and putting money before the lives of people.
Here is the full statement;
To His Holiness [Pop Francis ] @EWTN Catholic News Agency Vatican News and the Vatican Leadership,
On [19/11/2024], my friend Joram was injured in a car accident, where he was pinned against a wall, leaving him with scratches but no open wounds. He was rushed to St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya, where he received medication and was initially assessed by doctors, who stated that his condition was stable and not concerning, and that he could be discharged. Shockingly, he later passed away.
He died due to negligence and mishandling, as the hospital prioritized unethical practices and money over saving lives.
What is even more alarming is the suspicion that St. Francis Hospital may be engaging in unethical practices,The unexplained transfer of his body, coupled with the hospital’s lack of accountability and focus on profits, highlights potential malpractice that cannot be ignored.
As a Catholic-led institution, St. Francis Hospital is expected to uphold principles of compassion and dignity. These actions are a betrayal of those values and demand immediate action. I urge the Vatican to launch a thorough investigation, audit the hospital’s practices, and ensure justice is served. Such negligence and ethical violations must not be allowed to continue.
