Buchaman refutes Kenzo’s claims that Bobi Wine stole his songs

When Kenzo joined the Kamwokya-based group Firebase Crew, Buchaman was Bobi Wine’s vice president.

Buchaman was active in many elements of Firebase, therefore his opinions are always appreciated.

In response to Kenzo’s accusations that Bobi Wine had plagiarized parts of his songs, Buchaman has stepped out to refute these claims, asserting that the NUP President never stole his compositions.

He stated that his wife Barbie, with all of their joint accomplishments and good deeds, was the inspiration behind Bobi Wine’s song “Promise”.

“He never copied Kenzo’s songs because, for ‘Promise,’ he first did a reggae version, and when people didn’t embrace it much, he switched to a slow version. He didn’t get ideas from Kenzo’s songs. ‘Promise’ is an inspiration from Barbie, and that song was dedicated to her because of the sacrifices she made for him,” he partly said in an interview.
