St. Julian Schools celebrates USSSA victory in classy dinner

St. Julian Schools spiced up their 2024 USSSA trophy celebrations with a classy dinner held at Sheraton hotel in Kampala.

This followed their 3-0 victory as the Seeta campus defeated Amus college in the finals at Mpungu Arena, Masaka to lift their first national Schools tittle after a 10years of trial.

The director of St. Julian Schools Geoffrey Sserunjogi appreciated the team and a some members for the milestone they achieved as he awarded those who pushed him to this victory with support and encouragement.

“I would like to thank the team and my staff at school for this milestone, it’s been a couple of years trying but the best we could get to was just the semifinals. This year we came prepared and we finally won it.” Said the director Geoffrey Sserunjogi.

The director awarded the FUFA president Moses Hashim Magogo for his support and developments towards youth football in the country.

Rays of grace academy boosted with the lions share as they were honored for the tremendous works towards St. Julian’s victory with the players being scouted and trained under their academy.

The Executive director at Rays of grace Robert Kiwanuka went home smiling for the achievements the academy has started providing.

“I am so glad that our works have started to yield fruits. It has been a journey of ups and downs but today we are here to celebrate yet another victory. Rays of grace is a footballing academy with a primary school and we have dominated football at all the juniors levels in Mukono and the country as we won the inaugural edition of the odilo tournament.”

“When we had to send our children to the secondary level and St. Julian welcomed us thus helping them with our coaching staff and they managed to come out victorious with the players they understand better.” Said Robert Kiwanuka

St. Julian High school is in preparations for the upcoming FEASSSA games which are to be hosted by Amus college and Bukedea Comprehensive School.
