Eddy Kenzo to quit music soon

In January 2019, musician Eddy Kenzo celebrated his ten years in the music industry with a concert that brought together lovers of Ugandan music.

The singer has now revealed plans to quit music to concentrate on other personal businesses and projects.

The Big Talent boss explained he has done it all musically, and there is nothing more he can prove.

“I want to quit music and do other things. I have done it all, and I think it’s high time I leave. I don’t want to die doing this job,” he said in a video circulating on social media.

To this day, Eddy Kenzo is the most decorated artist in Uganda. He is the only musician from Uganda to be nominated for a prestigious Grammy Award, and he has won everything for Uganda, including BET and Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
