Kylian Mbappe Completes Long Awaited Move To Madrid

MADRID

The European champions have signed one of the world’s leading players, with Kylian Mbappe putting pen to paper at the Bernabeu.

The PSG chapter in the career of Kylian Mbappe, which began in 2017, has now officially come to a close.

With his existing deal at the Parc des Princes expiring in June 2024, the Frenchman has penned a five-year contract with Real Madrid and is set to join up with his new team-mates ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

Besides clinching several domestic trophies in France and reaching the UEFA Champions League final in 2020, the history books will always state that it was as a PSG player in 2018 that Mbappe took part in his first FIFA World Cup™, a tournament that Les Bleus went on to win in style, with the former Monaco attacker instrumental alongside the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud.

Still just 25, the Frenchman is already the epitome of a world-beater, whose love affair with the FIFA World Cup goes far beyond the aforementioned run to glory in 2018.

The Paris-born star became the second-youngest player of all time, behind none other than Pele, to score in a FIFA World Cup final when he found the net in the 4-2 victory over Croatia at the age of 19 years and six months.
