King Hanny an upcoming artist and a radio presenter shocked the internet when she asked who Ray G was.
Just two days after King Hanny officially signed a contract with NRG Radio, she went viral after she claimed that she didn’t know who Ray G was.
In one of her radio presentations, King Hanny asked Etania a.k.a life of the party who Ray G is.
Etania and how humorous she is always responded by stating that up country kiss do not know who Ray G is.
Etania later explained to King Hanny that Ray G sang omusheshe. In response, King Hanny said that she thought it was only Spice Diana that sang the song.
When the video made its way on social media, Ray G’s fans went on rampage. They were greatly offended that a whole radio presenter claimed not to know Ray G.
This, the fans not only put it on King Hanny but also NRG radio where she works from.
King Hanny is not only a Radio presenter but also an upcoming musician and artist. She has a number of songs such as tukiggale, Ndi Muto among others.
Given her profession, some people stated that it is rather reckless that she didn’t know a musician such as Ray G.
Any serious presenter, they claimed knows who Ray G is.
Furthermore, the fact that she is an upcoming artist, it would be great if she kept in the know of what’s gapping in the music industry – among this includes knowing musicians.
On this issue, fellow radio presenters came out to defend King Hanny. DJ Vanns stated that no one knows everyone. He was justifying the fact that fellow radio presenter didn’t know a great and famous musician such as Ray G.
Ray G whose real names are Reagan Muhairwe, is a Ugandan singer and songwriter who has in a very short time rose to fame.
Ray G is unique because he uses the Runyankole language his mother tongue in his music.
Very few musicians take such a risk because luganda is the most spoken language in the country therefore its better to use it. Ray G on the other hand decided to use another language which makes him outstanding.
Recently, Ray G held a successful concert which made very many people to talk about it on social. This alone makes him famous.
In response to the hostility towards the video, King Hanny thanked all her followers for making her more popular. She further joked that she would want a collabo with Ray G.
