Despite being married to Annabelle in 2021, Ray G, a singer from Western Uganda, recently discussed his reasons for not wearing a wedding ring. It seems that the whole ring thing isn’t to his taste.
Wedding bands, according to Ray G, are somewhat of an alien custom. He made this clear in a recent interview. “It said, “”Hey, I’m an African man, rings are a white thing.”
He added that he doesn’t dress up to impress others. His devotion to his wife is more important to him than any piece of metal.
Ray G even stated that it wouldn’t bother him if his spouse didn’t wear a ring. He believes that despite the rings, their marriage is going strong.
