As her critics have suggested, former Golden Band vocalist Karitas Kario has stated she is not planning to retire from performing.
The singer, who just put out an extended play, clarified that she merely stopped making music actively to focus on parenting her child.
“Those assuming my break was due to financial constraints are mistaken. I chose to step back to be a mother to my child. It’s time people altered their perspectives towards others,” she partly said in an interview with Spark TV.
Karitas clarified that her desire to give her child her all at such a young age was what prevented her from attending the studio, not financial worries.
