Dancehall performer Fik Gaza was detained last week after traveling to Saudi Arabia for a gig.
He reportedly failed to obtain a work visa and other necessary paperwork, which led to his arrest.
But the rising singer was freed after receiving appeals from many musicians and groups, and he is now back in the nation.
Gaza has credited singer Ykee Benda, UMA President Cindy, and Bobi Wine for her efforts in getting him released.
“I want to thank people who worked hard to see my release from jail. I thank Bobi Wine, the People’s President, Cindy, and Ykee Benda for all the efforts. Their calls paid off, and that’s why I can stand here today,” he partly said.
But once Kenzo was arrested, Fik Gaza criticized him and his federation for remaining silent.
