FAMACO II third edition kicks off at Makerere

The FUFA Football Development Department has today rolled off the third edition of the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO II) at Multitech Business School, Makerere. The course will cover three months.

FAMACO specifically focuses on strengthening and refining the soft and hard skills needed to succeed in an influential role in the football industry.

‘FUFA introduced the Football Administration and Management Course (FAMACO) Level II which is in line with the Federation’s vision of ” becoming the number one football nation in Africa on and off the field.’ said FUFA Executive Secretary-Football development Ronnie Kalema.

Kalema added; ‘As FUFA, we are intentional with this programme because we believe the football industry needs skilled workforce that has been taught about the principles of the game.’

SC Villa CEO Eng. William Nkemba, KCCA FC Board Member Counsel Keeya Jeremaih Mwanje, Vision Group & USPA’s Becky Cynthia Nakimera, FUFA Finance Director Julian Namuganga, FUTSAL Chairman Hamza Jjunju and former Uganda Cricket Cranes Captain Davies Arinaitwe in attendance among other 40 participants.

FAMACO Level II is committed to providing educational services on highly relevant matters related to football Administration & Management.

It is also prime-industry oriented, practical and solution-based offered to professionals from various fields of academic studies who are in football and need to use the knowledge to draw strategic and operational organization in running the game.

Additionally, the course seeks to equip participants with current practical know-how and insights studied in class and the field that is needed to transform the associations and clubs into professional entities.
