Politics has always captivated musicians; the latest example is Nina Roz.
Nina Roz revealed that she intends to enter politics in 2026 during an interview she had over the weekend with a local television station.
She plans to run for a parliamentary seat and wants to see reforms made to the administration. She made it clear that Bobi Wine is her role model and that she will do whatever it takes to bring about a meaningful change.
“Of course, I am of Bobi Wine’s generation; you have to expect me to be the voice of the voiceless. I want to be there for my people and fight for change. I joined the struggle to seek change because, in all the years I have lived, I have never seen change in my country. As a young person, I also want to live in a country that I am proud of. I do not want to lie to my fans that because they see me looking good, everything is good,” she explained in an interview with Sanyuka Television.
Given that Nina Roz has been visiting the National Unity Platform’s headquarters lately, it seems probable that she would run for office on the platform in the upcoming elections.
Rumor has claimed that Sembabule resident Nina Roz will run for Woman MP in the same constituency.
