The past two weeks have been filled with the talk about the closeness between renown musician and artist Edrisah Musuuza also known Eddy Kenzo and Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro,.
The newly- appointed state minister of Energy and Mineral Development Phiona was previously said to be close to Kenzo but there wasn’t any proof.
But when Eddy Kenzo escorted the honourable minister to her inauguration ceremony as the new Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development in charge of minerals people knew there was more.
Digging into the archives, there has always been mutual support between these two “friends”.
On 12th of November 2022, when Eddy Kenzo made a successful and memorable day at Kololo Independence grounds, Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro the then fresh legislator in Parliament representing the youth was at the fore-front of the organizing teams that made the show a reality.
According to reports the honourable was in charge of many aspects of the festival including gate collections and logistics.
Indeed, when asked in one of her very many interviews, she admitted to knowing Eddy Kenzo way back she even became a member of parliament.
At this point, I believe we should agree that there is indeed an established and mutual friendship between these two.
It therefore comes without surprise that Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro just days after she has been sworn in as a cabinet minister spear headed the drafting and ultimately enacting a copy right law in parliament
Yesterday Eddy Kenzo actually confirmed that Nyamutooro is his wife and he is looking forward to a happy life with her.
Not so many people were surprised by the statement as they saw it coming because they have been really so close and showing it to the public .
“I am so happy that my fans are deciding to gift me number two because my wife was recently appointed as a minister. I am really happy,”
